American Gourmet chooses their courier according to size, weight and destination of each parcel. We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase and delivery and we always keep the customers best interests in mind. Once an order is placed, we will usually ship the next business day (with the exception of dates between Dec 10 and Dec 25). Your total satisfaction is our goal and we will do whatever we can to meet your needs.
Ground Service is available through several carriers. We try to choose the best and fastest method of shipping. Shipping time varies due to proximity of delivery to major airports and postal routes. Most clients can usually expect parcels within 3 to 5 business days and more remote areas could take up to 7 business days.
2nd Day Air is available on items as shown and will ship out on the same day providing that the order is placed before noon and it must be placed via telephone. We need time to carefully package your gift and deliver it to the shipper.
Overnight service is sent via Airborne Express, UPS or Express Mail depending on size, weight and destination of the parcel. Overnight service means that the parcel will be delivered the next day after the order is shipped. Shipping is always scheduled on the next business day after the order is placed. Please place the order over the phone for overnight charges and confirmation.
If you are located in the Tri-County Detroit area, you may select the Local Delivery shipping option at the time of checkout. The fee for this service is $14.00. Local delivery may be delivered via USPS, Airborne Express, or hand delivered.
Hospital deliveries are available but American Gourmet will not be responsible for delivery once the package is accepted at the hospital. As always, we will be happy to ship the gift to a home or business address.
Please be careful when submitting information. Unfortunately, we cannot be responsible for incorrect addresses provided. However, we can redeliver your gifts to the correct address for an additional delivery charge.
